Assemblymember Weber Backpack Giveaway

Moores Cancer Center partnered with Assemblymember Dr. Akilah Weber's office to hold a community event to provide HPV vaccinations via community partner Champions for Health and to provide cancer education. There were also giveaways where participants could receive backpacks, school supplies, and other crucial vaccines.

Dr. Angelique Richardson is a board-certified medical oncologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer at UC San Diego Health. She also does clinical trial research and community research to help patients understand the importance of clinical trials. She is part of the COE Steering Committee at Moores Cancer Center, and is involved with several organizations like Susan G Komen and Tigerlily Foundation.
